Modernizing the
mid-century
Split Level 50's home renovated for contemporary family
This 1950’s Split Level home retains its original layout and kitchen cabinets but is cut off from its backyard and large bright family space limiting its enjoyment.
The new owners, an active family of four, need the home to meet their demands.
The kitchen is being re-purposed for not only cooking, but socializing, homework and family interactions, and the backyard will be given greater access from the home for recreational pursuits.
A “person cave” and quiet family area will also be incorporated within the design plan.
Renovations include:
Relocation of the kitchen
New ½ bath and renovated guest bath
New windows and openings to back yard.
